We are some of the 850,000 wives, mothers, daughters, granddaughters and great grand-daughters of veterans who served our great Country during times of war. We are the American Legion Auxiliary #305 The Woodlands and we are passionate about making a difference. If you are patriotic, enjoy volunteering to make a difference and want to advocate for veterans and active military, then you will feel right at home in the Auxiliary. The following is just a sample of what our unit does to help our veterans:

  • Assemble Care Packages to Send to our Troops
  • Teach School Children about our Nation's Flag
  • Send Pocket Flags to Deploying Troops
  • Volunteer with Local VA Clinics and Hospitals
  • Distribute Poppies to Help with Veteran's Programs
  • Help with Local Community Service Programs
  • Provide Scholarships for Girls to Attend ALA Girls State
  • Support Ride 2 Recovery a Texas Wide American Legion Auxiliary project.

We would love to have you join us. We meet the 3rd Thursday each month at the South County Community Center on Lake Robbins Rd. at 7:00 pm. Our meetings last from 1 to 1.5 hours and afterward we share a potluck meal with our Post. Please look through our website to gain more insight on our programs and objectives.

"In the spirit of service not self, the American Legion Auxiliary honors the sacrifice of those who serve by enhancing the lives of veterans, military and their families, both at home and abroad. For God and country we advocate for veterans, educate our citizens, mentor youth and promote patriotism, good citizenship, peace and security."
